Richardville portrait restoration update

The portrait of Richardville was returned to the Forks from Radecki Gallery in South Bend where it had undergone restoration to bring it to top condition. President Don Martin made the drive to pick up the R.B. Kraft rendition of the noted Miami Chief. President Martin then took it to Vorderman Photography in Roanoke to have laser copies made. They will soon be completed and the painting will be moved to Crestwood Framing, also in Roanoke, for the framing in a period-appropriate material and style. When all is completed Richardville will reside in the Indian House with Chief Francis LaFontaine, his wife Catherine, and their son, John. This will be fantastic addition to the legacy of the Historic Forks of the Wabash.
